Fox News highlights the debate whether the words "In God We Trust" belong in the town and city council buildings. (View video "God and Government" at Fox News.) Michael Newdow, avowed atheist, has sued to remove the national motto from the US greenback. We wonder whether those words may be the only thing of worth on the piece of paper the whole world has come to believe in. Which is the bigger fraud, Michael? God or the Dollar? You can still change your mind and change your money too. The $9 Trillion national deficit amounts to a whole lot of paper. Problem is: that's all there is—paper. There's no gold backing. And when the petrodollar switches from US currency, when the printing press runs out of paper, when the foreign debtors come calling, maybe you'll wanna remember your prayers.
