Orchestra Needs a Conductor—Just One

Hansadutta das

Either a Prabhupada man or not...

Tripurari Swami has requested us to post his reply to Udayananda das (Tripurari Swami's rebuttal to Udayananda's article Tripurari Swami posted on this website on July 9, 2006). Here let me quote from the final conclusion of the letter: He or one of his disciples (no author name appears) writes:

Warning on Gaudiya Math
Srila Prabhupada on His Godbrothers A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami

Actually amongst my Godbrothers no one is qualified to become acharya. So it is better not to mix with my Godbrothers very intimately because instead of inspiring our students and disciples they may sometimes pollute them. This attempt was made previously by them, especially Madhava Maharaja and Tirtha Maharaja and Bon Maharaja but somehow or other I saved the situation. This is going on. We shall be very careful about them and not mix with them. This is my instruction to you all. They cannot help us in our movement, but they are very competent to harm our natural progress. more
"In conclusion, Swami B. V. Tripurari, far from being a demon who should be avoided by cautious devotees, is a staunch follower of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and has given his life to the service of Sri Sri Guru and Gauranga. The present acharyas of every branch of our Bhaktivinoda Parivara, including many Iskcon gurus, recognize him as a bona fide preacher and advanced Vaisnava. His presentation of Krsna consciousness may not be to the liking of every devotee, but then again harmony is not everyone playing one note but rather many people playing different notes in a pleasing way (in this case, in accordance with shastra). May the community of devotees appreciate the beauty of diversity, the beauty of different expressions of devotion that conform to siddhanta. May Srila B. V. Tripurari Swami and all the selfless preachers of our golden Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu be glorified and may harmony and cooperation rather than bickering and discord reign."

There must be one conductor, then many can play various themes on the main theme and be harmoniously conducted by one conductor. The important point is the ONE CONDUCTOR THROUGH WHOSE DIRECTION HARMONY IS MAINTAINED. Who is Tripurari's conductor?? There cannot be more than one for one musical presentation.
