Hello Nimai Prabhu,
In the legal arena the court is acting on behalf of either the State
itself, or in the interest of two parties of contention.
Either way, there must be a "victim", someone claiming that either
their person or property rights have been violated. At least this is
the basic theory.
Now - all I am saying is this.
A group of men fraudulently claim to hold TITLE to the ASSETS OF SRILA PRABHUPADA'S IRREVOCALBLE TRUST.
THIS IS A FICTION. THEY CANNOT SHOW "PROVENANCE" IN ANY COURT IN THE
UNITED STATES.
ISKCON WAS ESTABLISHED BY SRILA PRABHUPADA - THE "LEGAL GRANTOR" OF HIS
TRUST - AS THE "BENEFICIARY" OF THE TRUST - ONLY. THEY ARE NOT AT
LIBERTY TO ALTER THE TRUST WITHOUT FOLLOWING VERY SPECIFIC PROCEDURES
WHICH WOULD ENTAIL TAKING PERMISSION FROM THE TRUSTEES. THIS IS THE LAW.
NOW - plain and simple - THEY DO NOT ACTUALLY WANT TO TAKE THIS TO
COURT. I AM CERTAIN OF THIS. IF THEY DO THEY WILL EVENTUALLY FIND
THEMSELVES IN JAIL.
I am not arguing against using a decent lawyer (hard to find them but they do exist) if the need were to arise any more than I would argue against say insurance or technical training of some sort or competent
health care.
I am merely saying that the BBTI already squandered over a million dollars prosecuting one devotee for having the audacity to print 2000
copies of the Chinese Gita. They managed to do this without facing the
proverbial "firing squad" because like all men positioned at the top of
the pyramid of power - in any organization - they were able to "edit"
the reporting of that legal disaster to the rank and file members of
ISKCON. How many men do you know STILL TO THIS VERY DAY operate under
the misconception that HANSADUTTA PRABHU sued the what is called the
BBT? HOW many men know any real details to that case, what lengths they
had to go in their efforts to "use a thorn to extract a thorn" as they
have described it? They could NEVER GET AWAY WITH THAT AGAIN. NO WAY.
They would prefer to let sleeping dogs lie. I am quite certain of that.
This is my point.
The strength of the BBT itself is now weak. No one knows it still exists. What needs to happen is that it be funded and begin printing in earnest. Krsna Books Inc must be exposed as the backhanded backroom
sham it actually is. They print books and then sell them at cost or
just over - as if this sets them above or better than the BBTI. It does
not. It makes then competitors with Srila Prabhupada's BBT. Where is
the Handsome Profit celebrated by HDG? Nowhere to be found...
Both are bogus.
The BBT must print and DOUBLE THE COST to the Temples and individual book distributors. The formula of 100% markup to the "market" - the
Book Distributors - IS the program of Srila Prabhupada.
A modest 5% increase annually in Book Sales is more than do-able and
the ONLY REASON IT IS NOT HAPPENING IS BECAUSE WE DON'T WANT IT TO.
WE DO NOT WANT IT TO HAPPEN. WHEN WE WANT IT TO HAPPEN - IT WILL.
What needs to happen is simple but not easy.
Both the BBTI and the Krsna Books Inc have to be boycotted by the devotees who are willing to do so... everyone else can go to hell as
far as I care.
The BBT must be fully endorsed and by hook or crook print up every book of Srila Prabhupada. No expense should be spared. Money will come.
Visvakarma Prabhu has assured me that even 1 Trillion Dollars is
NOTHING FOR KRSNA. I fully believe that. Fully.
Let the BBTI spend money on attorneys - if they think it will help them. But rest assured, the men who hit the streets will not subsidize another boondoggle. I am again certain of it. Especially if some of us make it our business to challenge the misuse of the results of their labor.
This is my point, Prabhu. I hope that is clear.

Like Direction of Management could just have been told in a conversation as a desire, why make it on legal stationary and signed counter-signed document?
Why follow it up with another legal document the Topmost urgency in
1974 asking the DOM to be included in all Incorporation Papers and
bylaws etc. Why give an instruction to change these legal documents to
make them controlled by an elected GBC?
Srila prabhupada had created the BBT in 1970 by a simple signed letter, yet in 1972 he made a very legal BBT agreement, again on legal stationary?
Same with July 9th 1977 letter.
Why would he take these 'legal' precautions?
Whom was he taking these precautions against?
May I render a guess?
Against the sinister conspirancy in the movement. From actual demoniac principles in the garb of leader devotee dress!
Why do I say that? Because Srila Prabhupada himself says so.
Can we continue to look the other way and not raise money for the
'legal' professional services when the time and need arises to save the
situation from these conspirators as Srila Prabhupada has planned it
out?
Or should we say we can keep paying for our gas, electricity, water,
food, accountant, doctor, clothes, internet services, phone to the
karmis but NOT TO THE Lawyers! Because they are the only ones who have
silicone implanted wives!
We pay for what is necessary. Be it to a karmi or an atheist.
How many of us have paid a lawyer to help sell our house?
Arjuna was provided all money necessary to fight by Krishna. And he was fighting a transcendental battle. It was glorious. Kali-yuga fighters
need law to fight. We cannot use swords on Jayadavaita! We do not lack
any money, we just need to become qualified to handle money. Then we
can use anything and everything to push on Srila Prabhupada's desires.
Srila Prabhupada showed in his manifest pastimes that when needed he
used the hard-earned money to get lawyers. Bombay temple fight, the
brainwashing fight, even the Radha Damodar temple room fight are
history and available on the folio. But it is true only after all
persuasion as Locanananda Prabhu says. Who wants to volunteer to
discuss and implore with Jayadavaita?
If somebody is stealing the books, changing Srila Prabhupada books,
printing other people's books using his money, and they will not stop
by telling, then would he not get the best lawyer to stop it?

By the way Hansadutta is no more the trustee as it seems he himself
resigned in 1999 in front of the judge and appointed 4 others as
trustee. He gave up his lifetime trustee position given to him by Srila
Prabhupada.
I checked up LEGALLY whether Srila Prabhupada's books are in Public
Domain. They are not. The copyright is with BBT, and a license, whether
legally given or not, is with Krishna Books Inc. No one else can print
these books in the world LEGALLY.
"If you get money print books" instruction--does it mean use the money
only for the printer!
Common sense says that money needs to be expended for transport, gas,
electricity, computers, accountant, and also lawyer if someone is
stealing the money. And what if all the trustees start changing the
books and start using the money of Srila Prabhupada for other purposes
than desired by Srila Prabhupada? A very good lawyer firm needs to be
got to set things right for the most important publishing house in the
world. This is the current world we are living in.
Another argument is that the lawyers cheat, so we should not get
lawyers. Does that mean we throw the baby with the bath water? We just
need to become more expert in not being cheated. One should give body,
mind, soul to understand the law so that one is not taken for a ride.
Law can also become divine if done for God's sake.
Hare Krishna! Please do not take offence! My only motive is so that we
can put Srila Prabhupada's BBT right, use all his money to print only
his books, only his original books and BTG and distribute them. Also
help build temples with that money. If we do not do something now 300
years down the line we may be reading Srila Prabhupada's Bible Gita
editions.
